AUGUST 5TH TO AUGUST 7TH, LUND, SWEDEN
LATEST UPDATE: 2022-08-01 22:42
- Updated: Changed session 3-2 to Blood of Agrik
- Updated: Onsite visitors costs etc.
ABOUT
The venue is at the third floor in the office of Svep Design Center AB, St. Lars väg 42A, in the southern part of Lund.
It is possible to park nearby – if you use one of the company parking spaces, there is no fee.
From Copenhagen airport it is 45 minutes by taxi (something like 1000SEK), or train. Contact me if you have questions.
You can usually manage with a credit card only, no need to use cash, even for smaller transactions.
We have access to one big conference room, and common room/dining room.
Both rooms are equipped with large TV-screens and conference 360-degrees cameras (Meeting Owl).
A guest wifi-network is available.
Lunch will be served at the venue on Saturday and Sunday, as well as dinner on Saturday evening, as catering. In addition, coffee, soda, fruit, chips etc. will be available.
Expected cost per onsite-participant:
- Friday only: 120SEK / 12E
- Saturday only: 425SEK / 42E
- Sunday only: 250SEK / 25E
- Saturday to Sunday: 600SEK / 60E
- Friday to Sunday: 700SEK / 70E
This is to be paid on arrival using SWISH (Swedish electronic payment system) or cash in SEK or EURO. If there are any funds left afterwards they will be donated to a charity connected to Ukraine (e.g. Medicins Sans Frontiers, Red cross etc.) of my choice.
Online participants are kindly asked to donate whatever they feel is right to whatever Ukraine charity you fell suits you!
On Sunday evening, there will be a farewell dinner at a restaurant for those wo stay to the next day.
There are several hotels at a walking distance from the venue, but two suggestions are Hotel Concordia and SAS Radisson.
Hotel Concordia is an older building (built 1882) and closer to the city center, whereas SAS Radisson is of fairly recent build and distant from the city center.
If you haven’t arranged for a hotel, it is recommended that you do it asap – the summer is a busy time in Lund, and hotel rooms can become scarce.

I’ve played this twice locally at HarnMoot the first centered around a night of decadance and a dead senator at the crimson palace, the second ended in a temple war between the Eight Demons and the Order of the Silken Voice.
The session is highly dependent upon the players actions. I should have character sheets ready for players to review by 7/23. We will deliver over zoom. Players should have access to a zoom connection. I recommend you choose a character in advance and print out character sheets in advance.

All is well at Marby Castle? Lets find out together telling a story, where there’s no script prepared in advance.
Marby is a minor port at the headwaters of Pentiel Bay (in northern Orbaal) and sees one of the largest tidal variations in Orbaal. Clanhead Mikkaar Serewyn was educated in Shorkyne and prefers diplomacy and debate to death and destruction. His clan, an offshot of the Sherwyns, has been locked in a bloody feud with the older clan since 683. Current year is 720, in the middle of summer.
Marby is occupied by vikings/Ivinians, original habitants are Jarin.

Form (Online/onsite): TBD: Onsite.
Number of players: 3-5 pregenerated.
Setting (e.g. Harn, Harnplayer): Run under rules of “The Dee Sanction”.
Technical requirements: None.
A single scenario set in the period of Elizabethan England (1558-1603). The scenario is set in Denmark in March, 1586 following a request for aid from Frederick II, King of Denmark.
The premise of the Dee Sanction
In 1563, the Queen (Elizabeth) passed an Act Against Conjurations, Enchantments and Witchcraft. It made magick use to kill another a capital offence—triggered in no small part by a Catholic plot to assassinate the Queen through sorcery two years earlier. It also made a felony of the use of magick to maim, consort with evil spirits, provoke love, or seek buried treasure.
In 1564, the Queen passed an amendment to the Act on her most trusted advisors’ advice. The Dee Sanction permitted the practice of magick in defence or for the beneficence of the realm. And, it created a loophole through which convicted traitors might use their heretical knowledge to work a penance in service to Her Majesty
Dr. Dee recruits his Agents from the dungeons and gaols, seeking out those who have either an insight into the use of magick, or have become tarnished after a close association with the practice.
These Agents are not heroes, they are pressed unfortunates who are always only one slip away from the gaol or executioner. They are EXPENDABLE, DENIABLE and SCAPEGOATS!

The strange light phenomen at Telumar have baffled generations of Shek Pvar. Now a master of Lyhavi
Have seemingly lost his mind. Can you young aspiring masters of different convotations save him and perhaps even unravel The enigma of Telumar.
By Alun Rees
By Andy Gibson
Number of players: 3-4
Setting (e.g. Harn, Harnplayer): Torchbearer hack for Hârn setting
Technical requirements: Laptop or tablet TBD.
Up in the mountains and snow and ice of the Froy valley in Menglana, the Dagen of Ibanvaal have crossed the Beneta Pass and fallen upon Froyby. When the spring thaw arrives an attack on Froyaheim is expected; the febrile atmosphere in the Storzars’ main settlement is intensified by the rumour that they carry with them the “Blood of Agrik”.
What exactly the “Blood of Agrik” is, is a mystery, but if nothing else it will boost the morale of the invaders and sap that of the outnumbered defenders. Storzar has offered a rich reward for those able to steal away or rub out this threat.
Down on your luck, and outcast from “polite” society, you are a band of “adventurers”, the lowest of the low. So why not take a chance and try to win honour and renown by saving Froyaheim and the kingdom beyond – and maybe making yourself rich, in the process…?
This session is designed to be an introduction to the Torchbearer systems as applied to Hârn/Ivinia. As such, no preparation is needed, but it would be useful if you have a number of six-sided dice, a pencil and a rubber.
The Torchbearer system is quite different from many systems that you may have tried – so a flexible and awake brain would also be an advantage!
