- Park in Hohenschwangau and take the shuttle bus up OR horse carriage OR walk (~30–40 min uphill)
- Recommendation: Don’t only see the castle itself, the best views are actually from Marienbrücke bridge.
- The shuttle bus runs from Parking area P4 / Schlosshotel Lisl up toward Marienbrücke (Mary’s Bridge).
- From the bus stop you still walk downhill ~10–15 minutes to the castle entrance.
